The Easy Health juicer offered by Easy Health Europe, an online retailer of juicers and other healthy lifestyle related products on the UK and European market, is a single auger masticating type unit that is manually operated.

This practical non-electric juice extractor makes delicious and nutrient-rich juice from a wide assortment of fruits and vegetables and it also juices wheatgrass, barley grass and sprouts.

The cold pressed juice made by the Easy Health juicer’s slow, mechanical grinding and squeezing process is full of live enzymes, vitamins and other nutrients benefitial to your vitality and health.

The Easy Health costs considerably less than an electric, motor-operated juicer machine yet it is a very good-performing machine that will be a useful and decorative part of any kitchen.

Main Features & Benefits of the Easy Health Juicer

  • Single Auger, Manual Juicer with Power Lock Clamp - similarly to the Z-Star Wheatgrass Juicer, the Easy Health attaches onto an even, smooth surface by way of suction force (50 kg suction strength), or if the surface is not smooth enough, you need to clamp it down on a countertop/tabletop edge. The Power lock clamp for textured surfaces makes the options where to use the machine wider.
  • User-Friendly Design, Solid Construction -The majority of the unit is made of tough polycarbonate (Lexan) that is very durable. The parts that has to bear the highest pressure – the tip of the auger and the core of the end cap – are made of stainless steel. All materials used are FDA-approved, CE, GS and UL-certified.

The juicer attaches to any smooth and even surface by way of a suction pad that needs to be activated/deactivated by using the provided lever that also can be used as a plunger to help the produce move down the feeding chute into the auger chamber.

  • Juices Several Kinds of Produce Including Wheatgrass – by turning the handle the auger inside the housing rotates at low speed crushing and grinding the added produce, gently squeezing the juice out of the fruit and veggie pulp. One might think that this slow process is ineffective, yielding little juice. On the contrary, the slow, cold grinding and pressing process is capable of extracting a very high percentage of the produce’s liquid content with the nutrients kept intact in it.

Fast centrifugal juicers tend to generate heat during operation due to mechanical friction of the rapidly moving parts. The heat combined with the high level of air getting mixed into the juice by the centrifugal force, starts to destroy the vitamins and enzymes right away, decreasing the quality of the juice.

That’s why it’s recommended that you drink the juice immediately you made it. With a manual, auger-type juicer, like the Easy Health you don’t have to worry about oxidation of nutrients, the juicing process is designed to protect them, providing the user with delicious, fresh juice with the maxium health benefits. That’s why one juices in the first place.

The Easy Health performs the best when its used for juicing wheatgrass, barley grass, alfafa, sprouts, and leafy greens. You can add other vegetables and fruits in small quantity (1 apple, 1 carrot or other produce to your taste) to dilute the harsh taste of the wheatgrass juice.

  • Easy to Use and Clean, No Screen, Quick Wash Up – many people are daunted by the task of juicing and the clean up that needs to be done afterwards, so they rather don’t bother with preparing their own fresh juice. This is not the case with manual juicers like the Easy Health. Assembling the parts is uncomplicated and operating it requires only a little handwork.

The long handle provides more leverage for turning the auger easier. Since the Easy Health juicer doesn’t have a mesh screen, clean up is very easy. There are only 3 parts to wash, and a rinse in warm water right after juicing will be suffcient. Although it is not dishwasher safe, the manual clean up takes only about 1 minute.

  • Less Moving Parts, Non-Electric Construction, Longer Life – the Twin Health and other manual auger juicers contain fewer moving parts so the chance of break down is less, ensuring extended operational life of the machine.
  • Silent – another advantage of the lack of motor that the unit is virtually quiet.
  • Compact size, Light Weight – Occupies little space which makes it ideal for small households. It weighs less than 1 kg so you can take it with you when you go on a holiday. You can put it in a drawer when dismantled.
  • Low Cost – the best thing with these types of juice extractors that they are inexpensive (under $100), and there’s no attached cost such as electricity consumption. The less repair and replacment cost is another advantage of the simple construction, making the Easy Health an even more affordable, budget juicer.

User Reviews of the Easy Health Juicer

Pros

  • As easy to clean as it is advertised. It’s most efficient with wheatgrass, leafy greens (lettuce, cabbage, spinach) and hard, fibrous produce (carrots, celery, apple). With softer fruits (kiwi, strawberries, raspeberries, peaches) you’ll get a puree instead of a juice.
  • well-made unit,
  • Sapines ad labore duius nunc
  • attractive color finish options,
  • inexpensive, a good budget juicer for small families,
  • foam-free fresh tasting juice,
  • high Juice volume,
  • quiet,
  • takes up litlle space,
  • portable

Cons

  • You have to experiment with the juicer to see what works with it and what doesn’t.
  • Requires a bit of work to juice firmer produce (carrots, celery), but cutting it into smaller chunks reduces the effort.
  • softer fruits will yield more of a puree consistency juice.

Conclusion

The Easy Health juicer is a good entry-level juicer, ideal for those who can’t decide yet whether juicing is for them. Due to its compact size, it is also recommended for small families tight on space in their home.

It is best for juicing wheatgrass and other grass-type greens (sprouts), but it also does well apples, oranges, carrots, celery and a range of other produce when added in small portions.

This appliance isn’t meant to be used for making large volume of juice; for this you’ll need a centrifugal juice extractor.
