I have owned it for 3 yr and rate it better than the first jack lalanne juicer. It juices everything that i prefer to juice and it does it well.
I am very happy with it.

Big problem with one part.
The base that the basket sits on is PLASTIC....and it cracks after some time of use.

The BIG problem is, it is attached to the motor, and you have to buy a whole new juicer or a new motor that costs 50% of the cost of a new machine.

This is "planned" obsolesces ....so the choices are obvious.....one is to buy a different juicer that has metal parts where they need to be.

Seemed easy to use and clean. I needed a juicer for every day use, mostly vegetable juice. I purchased it and was very disappointed.

1) juicer is HUGE, it takes a LOT of counter space
2) the pulp container doesn't stay put, no latch to hold it in place.
3) the spout that juice is coming from is kind of open and juice splashes all over
4) does not make 30% more juice than other brands as advertized - I get same as my old Moulinex
5) not that powerful - sometimes need to unplug, delog pieces, start over
6) much foam buildup - spoils the taste - much waste removing the foam

THE WORSE:
7) keeps overheating - must shut down - wait - disassemble, then reassemble then it MAY work
8) said all parts were diswasher safe - NOT TRUE - all the black paint comes off leaving ugly silver patches - looks awful on kitchen counter next to other appliances

Had this machine in storage for several years and took it out of the box 12/30/10 and tried it out. Put small apples, pears, and grapes in the chute. Frequently jammed up and I had pulp oozing out all over the sides of the machine.

The clean up was a total mess. It took much effort to get the filter/blade clean right after using it.I managed to clean it all up and put it back in the freaking box. I will never waste my time on this piece of crap again. How do they get away selling stuff like this? I frequently get burned on TV infomercials and this is no exception.I'm done.

Takes a lot of space........ I must cut the carrots into small pieces, otherwise the machine jumps around and juice spills everywhere. Apples have to be cut too, otherwise they get caught in the feeder, which I think is too long. When you drop items in the feeder it starts to spin them around the filter before you can get the feeder plunger in the machine.Also, the pulp is very very wet....... For, me........ I waited nearly two months for the porduct to arrive (which happened to be on the day Jack passed away) I could have purchased another juiceman for cheaper with better results.....

I AM TRULY DISAPPOINTED!!!!. Since i purchased this Product late 2007 and, 10 months ago it stopped working. When ALL my 10yrs older appliances still works. I'm a single mom working minimum wages and i invested in this for me and my 8yrs old and all I have now is a broken JUICER. It's only fair i get a replacemt Juicer. Thank you.

Power Juicer Deluxe

We had mistakenly put the pusher on the bottom of our dishwasher and now it does not
go all the way down in the juicer.

We have called customer service about 5 times which has been outsourced what sounds like India. They keep telling us they will send a new pusher but they never do.

Then they say that they will excalte the issue to their senior manager (yeah right)who is suppose to call us back.

We never get a call back. Still waiting in Michigan. COME ON JACK GET YOUR PRODUCT IN ORDER!!!!

I bought just before one month. It is working fantastic, easy to clean.

I don't need to turn on dishwasher every time. I can clean the parts with brush. It really makes nice quantity of juice. I like it very much.

I've owned 3 of them and each time I returned them for a refund.

The juicers are hard to use, hard to disassemble, needing a "special" key to remove cutter.

The juice comes out foamy.I juice every day and they just didn't hold up.

I always go back to the Juiceman Pro.I juice 10 lbs. of carrots,3 lbs.apples 2 heads of celery and a bunch of beets EVERY week, and need a durable machine.

The pulp is so soggy you can literally pour one glass of juice from the pulp for every two glasses of juice extracted from the machine, and forget about grapes or pears, your can do better with an old fashioned potato masher. This machine was a huge disappointment, very dissatisfied with this product.

Jack Lalanne Power Juicer Elite

We purchased the "Elite" power juicer from a TV infomercial. The product arrived and worked fine for a couple of months and we had a problem when the pulp catcher broke on us. So we went to the internet site and ordered a replacement part.

About a month later the package arrived and it was the wrong part. We spoke to someone in customer service and told them what happened and they asked for us to return the part. What they didn't tell us was they were not correcting the error until the returned part arrived.

Well it has been 3 months now, and we don't have the replacement part yet. So I would have to say the juicer is a great product, but customer service is totally disfunctional. My recommendation would be to get a different product.

It’s useless machine I bought this and 2nd week is gone bad since I was unable to tighten the blade.

I called customer service since I took extended Warranty. Customer service is a bunch of liars hired by company. They are very polite but never do what they say.

I was keep calling for repair. At last I had to dispute over my credit card. It is such problem inside the machine that nobody can figure it out.

Blade get loosen and cannot be tightened. It is so dangerous you cannot imagine keep your children away from kitchen when you operate this juicer.

Best thing is put in trash and buy some other name brand like Hamilton Beach, we can tolerate the noise and not sacrifice the safety.

We bought the the classic at a retail store, used it a few days and it worked fine with no problems.

We then saw the Jack Lalanne infomercial on TV, as we had seen many times before, but for the first time we actually watched the whole infomercial and found out that their was a Jack Lalanne Pro. We thought the Pro was their top of the line and so we ordered it online, but at the end of the order it asks if you would like to "upgrade" to the Elite Industrial model for $29.97 more and for $30.00 additional you could get a 7 year warranty.

We were deciding to upgrade or not and the order "timed out" meaning we could not change the order and we would receive the Pro model. My wife immediately called to cancel the Pro and wanted to order the Elite Industrial. The company said the Pro model had already been shipped, how that could have been when she just ordered the Pro model less than 5 minutes before, but they said that when it arrives to refuse the shipment and UPS would take it back.

She went back on the Jack Lalanne Jucier website, ordered the Elite for $149.00, she bought the Industrial part for another $29.97, (all you get is blade with extra points or 'cutters' on it), plus $30.00 more for the 7 year warranty, plus an additional $28.44 for shipping and handling to a total of $238.38. It arrived today. It is supposed to make soy milk but we have not tried that yet. So for $149.38 I thought this juicer would be "the best" Jack Lalanne Juicer made... It looks nice but juices the same as the Classic one for $89.00.

I could have saved $149.38 and 1+ hour on the phone if I would have kept the Classic model. Tristar, the company who markets and sells these, are doing their job and Jack Lalanne well.

We bought this brand new, and the motor does not run after being switched on,
we follow the solution in the manual but still it will not switch on, many times

we check if it is assembled correctly and try again, still it will not work.

This Elite model is more complicated to operate. We already tred the white one which we used for more than 5 years, and the motor gave up after those years of using, but I am more satisfied with the white one than with this Elite model.

I wasted my money buying this model, i regret it, i decided not to return even if this one has a warranty because i still have to spend more on postage and handling. This is
a waste of money.

I purchased 2 Jack Lalanne juicers; one for myself and one for my daughter.

It has nothing but frustration for both of us everytime we try to use it.

It gets stuck with food in the feeding chamber; motor works but blade does not move. I had stored it in the cupboard for a while and recently took it out to give it another try; same problems and frustrations!

I have never bought a product that I was so disappointed and frustrated with!!
I'm done trying it!!

I bought my power juicer (the basic one) in 05 and only used it about 2 dozen times.

It does stain easy and now I see the plastic spinner platform under the orange mesh filter that sits on top of the motor, is cracked in 5 places. So I wonder how much longer it will last?

It cost me under $100.00 so I guess you get what I pay for. It's my first juicer so I can't compare it to others but other than what I said it works pretty good.
