What Does the Lexen Electric Healthy Juicer Juice?
It juices well
It is not as efficient when juicing vegetables and fruits (especially if they’re too soft or contain less juice) as it is with wheatgrass and greens.
Apart from juicing, the Lexen Healthy Electric is a multi-function juicer – similarly to other comparable cold juice extractors (Omega 8003/8005/8006, Green Star, Samson) – because with it you can make 3 types of pasta, homogenize to make baby food, prepare nut butter, frozen fruit desserts.
The Lexen Healthy Electric juicer comes with two augers:
Since the juicer doesn’t have an internal screen, the juice is a bit pulpy which is great if you want the juice to also provide for your daily fiber content. There’s a separate screen that comes with it that you can place on top of the juice cup to catch much of the pulp if you want less of it in your juice.
It is a low-speed (76 rpm) juicer which means that the juice won’t overheat due to high revolution of the auger and also less oxygen gets dissolved into it, preserving the original quality of the phytonutrients (less chance of oxidation and no heat damage)
Although the Lexen Electric Healthy is advertised as a vegetable, fruit and wheatgrass juicer, it is most efficient with leafy greens, wheatgrass, herbs and firmer veggies and fruits with higher water content (carrots, beets).
Softer/overripe produce tend to clog the unit due to the excess pulp (in this case press the Reverse button to unclog the machine). It also helps if you alternate adding soft produce with firmer ones (a few pieces of apple then a few pieces of celery/carrot etc.).
According to some users the Lexen Electric Healthy Juicer extracts less juice from wheatgrass and from other vegetables, the pulp is significantly wetter than it is in other similar juice machines.
Although it isn’t a stainless steel juicer the Lexen Electric Healthy is a sturdy machine.
The body of the juicer is made of durable plastic (polycarbonate), the auger is nylon with stainless steel tips (this is where the auger exerts the highest crushing power so this needs to be the most durable). The feed chute and the pulp bin are transparent plastic.
The inside of the end cap where the auger crushes the produce also has stainless steel insert. The auger chamber is sits on a support to ensure stability during operation and to avoid putting too much stress on the auger.
Although the motor carries 8 year warranty, the other parts come with only 1 year warranty – a longer period would ensure more trust in the juicer’s durability. Overall it is a good-quality, affordable masticating juice machine.
Using the Lexen Electric Healthy Juicer
When putting together the parts make sure that the auger chamber is in the lock position as seen on the photo:
The juicer comes with a stainless steel sieve that fits on the top of the juice cup. Use it if you want your juice without pulp, however if you don’t mind pulp leave the sieve off.

Since there are only 4 parts to clean (end cap, auger, juice cup, nylon washer) washing them requires much less of your time than that of any other similar juicers’. There’s no internal screen with tiny holes that is difficult to clean. A quick rinse under running water will do the job.
After making nut butter, clean up is more troublesome: use a baby bottle washer to get rid of the nut remains from the auger chamber.

Conclusion – For Whom We Recommend the Lexen Electric Healthy Juicer ?
The Lexen Healthy Juicer, Electric Model GB62 is not the most efficient low speed juice extractor on the market but it is the best one you can get under $200. So if you don’t have or don’t want to spend $250-$300 on a better performing unit with longer warranty, and plan to juice mostly leafy greens, wheatgrass, sprouts, herbs and firmer vegetables then the Lexen Electric Healthy Juicer is an ideal choice.
On the other hand, with a costlier model (Omega 8006, L’Equip Omni, SoloStar II) that has higher juice yield you’ll get back the excess cost in the long run by having to use less produce to make the same volume of juice.
