Main Features and Benefits of Omega 8003/8005 Juicer

  • Low Oxidation - Rich, Healthy Juice -The masticating process slowly crushes the produce than extracts the juice from the pulp. The slow (motor runs at 80 RPM) ensures a higher nutrient content juice that isn't oxidized.
Just compare a glass of apple juice made with a centrifugal juicer and with one that was extracted by a masticating style machine. The juice prepared with the masticating munit will be much lighter in color while the one juiced with the centrifugal machine will hava a brownish color due to oxidation of enzymes and vitamins. One more pro of the slow motor is that there's no heat protecting the nutrients from damage. There's also less foam in the juice made with the Omega 8003/8005.

  • Two-Stage Juicing Screen - More Effecctive Extraction- the crushed produce is pressed through two fine stainless steel screens to get the highest possible juice yield from the produce - The pulp will be dry indicating the most of the liquid content has been extracted. This has the advantage that you'll need to use less produce to make the same amount of juice than you would with a centrifugal juice machine.

  • Univesral Juicing - with the Omega 8003/8005 you can juice all kinds of vegetables (carrots and other root veggies, leafy greens, tomatoes), fruits, including citrus fruits, although in case of the latter you need to run them through a few times to get all the juice out. It juices whetagrass and green leaves (cabbage, kale, spinach) even pine needles.

  • Solid, Sturdy Machine - The Omega 8003/8005 is a well-engineered applaince designed to last many years. The auger is manufactured off U. S. FDA approved melamine ( hard plastic) preventing hazardus metals getting into your food.

  • Long Warranty, Reliable Service - The manufacturer gives 10 year warranty on all parts and labor.

  • Simple to Assemble and Disassemble - the parts (auger housing, auger, screen and end cone) fit logically and are easy to put together and take apart after juicing. Parts of the machine: hopper, drum, auger, juicing screen, blank cone, drum cap, plunger, brush, 2 bowls, sieve, nozzles. The sieve fits on both of the bowls. Use it at the end of juicng if you find the juice too pulpy to your taste.

  • Ease of Use - the Omega 8003/8005 will efficently juice a wide range of produce. You just drop in the well-washed vegetables and fruits and you'll have a fresh, natural juice in a few minutes. Use the plunger if necessary to help the machine tackle the pieces, but if you cut the produce into smaller chunks you won't need the plunger.
Yes, it's slower than a centrifugal juicer like the Omega 9000 or the Breville juice machines but it conserves the nutrient content providing you with a juice that contains a high level of vitamins, enzymes, flavonoids and trace minerals. The built-in reverse feature prevents the machine from clogging ensuring uninterrupted juicing.

  • Easy Clean Up - washing the disassembled parts is hassle-free. Even the screen which the most difficult part of juicers to clean) is easy to clean. Use the brush to remove the pulp and fibers from between the screen holes.

  • Silent Operation - Some juicers are very noisy during opeartion but not he Omega 8003/8005. The motor runs smoothly generating very little noise.

  • Portable - the built-in carry handle allows you to conveniently carry the 16-pound machine - it is on the top of the machine and it folds up when you want to move the unit and it folds back. The handle doesn't get in the way during juicing.

  • Universal Appliance - The Omega 8003/8005 is not just a juice extractor but with the various attachments it can be converted into a mincer, grinder, nut butter maker, pasta maker - so it is a complete food processor that will help you in many cooking tasks and helps you make your everyday diet versatile and nutritious.
